RUMI SUNQU means STONE HEART in quechua. A poetic description of my andean roots, the devotion I share for the ancient pre-inca history, the influence of my ancestors and the admiration I have for the mystique they left behind.

My name is CARO LUNA, I'm a writer, chef and history addict. Please join me in this very personal journey through the magical land of Perú and the memoirs of the Tahuantinsuyo empire.

Take a sneak peak of our last year's foodie tour to the gastronomical capital of South America.

Even though Lima is worldwide known as the gastronomical capital of South America thanks to the famous restaurants and chefs, the true history of its cuisine lays between the little traditional places, or huariques as we would say, were history remains unwritten but recreated with the same passion and devotion than the old days.

Right here you have one of my favorite cevicherias, right in my childhood neighborhood! It is even yummier than it looks!
